How can I get my child ready for picture day?
Choose outfits your child feels happy and comfortable in. Bright or soft colors that highlight their eyes and skin tone photograph beautifully, and even a simple white shirt works perfectly with our digital backdrops for a clean, modern look. Avoid neon colours, large logos or busy graphics that can steal attention away from your child’s face. Layered clothing, soft textures like knits or corduroy add depth without being distracting. For the sibling pictures, it's best to choose a style you love and coordinate both children's outfits!
What kind of smile works best in photos?
The sweetest smiles are the ones that come naturally. No need to practice in front of a mirror, that often leads to stiff or “say cheese” grins. We’re pros at helping kids relax and have fun so their real personalities shine through. Together with the teachers, we’ll help the children feel comfortable so their real personalities shine through. Sometimes the in between giggles or curious looks make the best pictures of all.
How will I see my child’s portraits and place an order?
Every family gets a personal access code on picture day. In about a week, you’ll get an email from us with a link to your child’s online gallery. From there, you can browse through all the pictures and pick the individual photos or packages that you’d like.
When do the finished photos arrive?
About two weeks after the ordering period closes, the final prints are delivered straight to your child’s preschool or daycare. Teachers love this part too they get to see the portraits of all the kids together and celebrate with the families.
Can siblings be photographed together?
Yes! We love capturing siblings during photo day. Please let your child’s teacher know ahead of time so we can plan for it. We’ll make sure to take both individual and sibling portraits.
What if my child is shy or nervous?
That’s completely normal. Our photographers are patient and experienced in working with young children. We give them time to warm up, use a playful approach, and never rush. Often the sweetest photos come once kids feel safe and start being themselves.
